Vera Wolf, VP of Sales EMEA

Zerto’s Vera Wolf promoted to VP of Sales EMEA

Zerto has promoted Vera Wolf to VP of Sales EMEA. Wolf has played a pivotal role in Zerto’s success in the EMEA region over the last year, including leading several local EMEA regions to significant revenue growth and consistently overachieving against sales metrics.

Critical to this achievement was the successful execution and expansion of Zerto’s sales strategies to invest in local partner ecosystems, as well as aligning corresponding sales support programs and Zerto’s partner programme, Zerto Alliance Partner Program (ZAP). Moving up to lead the entire EMEA region, Wolf’s immediate charter includes applying successful local sales strategies to the EMEA, continuing the growth and development of the local sales teams and partner community, and expanding the scope of the sales programme to cover new use cases.

“Vera Wolf has played a strong role within our global sales team from day one. Her ability to execute on our sales strategy with her team and strategic partners in the EMEA region has helped it become one of the fastest growing regions,” commented Ziv Kedem, CEO at Zerto. “She has successfully led our team through the difficult times of the pandemic and helped our customers make the most out of the opportunities it presented. We look forward to working with Vera in the exciting times ahead for our organisation.”

With Vera Wolf taking over responsibilities for the entire EMEA region, Johannes Streibich, previously Regional Sales Manager for the DACH region, succeeds in her former role and assumes responsibilities in Central Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as Sales Director CEMEA. Streibich has had an immediate impact within the Zerto organisation since joining in 2019. With both positions being filled internally, Zerto achieves a seamless continuation of partner and customer relations while it invests further in the growing EMEA region.

New products and features expand
Vera Wolf’s appointment follows Zerto’s yearly user conference, ZertoCON, which saw several new product announcements and partnerships. Key announcements included new data protection solutions for AWS workloads, including Amazon EKS, along with the latest version of the Zerto platform, 9.0. Zerto also announced the general availability of Zerto for Kubernetes (Z4K), which applies Zerto’s leading continuous data protection (CDP) technology to next-generation, containerized applications, as well as a partnership with Keepit, an industry-leading cloud backup and recovery solution designed to manage and protect cloud SaaS data covering some of the most widely used SaaS solutions, including Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and Google Workspace.

“The demand for Zerto continues to increase in EMEA as our solution solves some of the most urgent problems in IT, including continuous availability of critical applications. This creates ample opportunities for us and our partners to create real added value for customers at a critical time when they need it most,” said Wolf. “We are also adding new exciting functionalities to the platform, Like securing Kubernetes workloads and SaaS-applications, which widens our potential customer base and makes Zerto an excellent choice for even more use cases.”
