Huawei UK presents ‘The Tech Podcast’

The launch of a new global podcast by Huawei will focus on software to meet the demands of an autonomous future. The Tech Podcast gives listeners first-hand perspectives, debates and forecasts in an effort to understand what’s on the horizon.

Guest appearances from academics, policy makers, inventors and entrepreneurs will combine to provide a point of view from the centre of innovation.

Paul Harrison, Director of Communications at Huawei UK said: “Our new podcast will help listeners cut through the political noise and give a platform to real technology experts in this space. Huawei is a truly global company with a formidable research and development mindset, so is well placed at the centre of tech discussions today.”

The Tech Podcast is set to air on May 10th with an exclusive two-part episode, ‘The Economic Reboot; How can technology drive the economic recovery?’ in which we explore what needs to happen for Britain to improve its digital infrastructure, allowing technology to propel the economy out of the Covid slump.

The first episode features special guests, former Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport; the Rt Hon Karen Bradley MP and serial entrepreneur and philanthropist Sherry Coutu CBE. The conversation continues with episode two, a panel discussion featuring telecoms leader Sir Mike Rake, AI expert Katie King and IOT boss Oliver Tucker as they continue this discussion on the technical opportunities and challenges that lie ahead to reboot the economy.

The podcast is produced in collaboration with UK podcast studio, Fresh Air Productions. To subscribe now visit The Tech Podcast or find it on Spotify, iTunes and all major podcast players.
