Acer’s new updates to Chromebook 311

Acer has revealed new features for its new Chromebook 311. Based on an ARM Octa Core processor, it has enough power for up to 15 hours of use throughout the day.

Weighing in at only 1kg, this Chromebook combines extreme portability with the ARM Octa-Core processor, giving enough processing power to get through a day’s work, even whilst on the go. The concave keycaps and substantial travel distance are designed to make typing faster, more accurate and comfortable for the user. The HD Touchpad is also moisture resistant and with an all-day battery life of up to 15 hours, users can stay active and engaged.

The USB-C port, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 enable simple connection to multiple devices at the same time. The laptop has an integrated 720p HDR wide-view webcam for crystal clear video calls in Google Meet. With all the advantages offered by Chrome OS such as quicker boot times, an easy-to-use interface, built-in malware protection and access to millions of Android apps on Google Play or to the Chrome Web Store it’s easy to stay productive.

Fast boot times, ease of use, tough security and long battery life are some of the advantages of Chrome OS. The fast boot time, simplified interface, integrated malware and efficient use of power mean users can enjoy hassle-free computing and stay productive all day, without the need for the power adapter. With Chrome OS, as well as using the Google Workspace, users can still use alternative office productivity programs and other communication tools such as Microsoft Office and Skype.
