Datech Solutions, a specialist business of Tech Data has launched an online service, called Renew Online, which enables reseller partners to provide a self-service option for end-user customers renewing their AutoCAD subscription licences.
The Renew Online function is designed to help partners automate their “tech touch” customers that have a very small number of AutoCAD licenses. Renew Online can be used by partners to drive a series of automated email reminders, highlighting the benefits and value of the software, and reminding them they are due to renew soon. End-user customers are able to update their AutoCAD licenses online and pay immediately using a credit card.
By using Renew Online as a way of managing these customers, partners can implement a “zero-touch” process that will help then to maximise their AutoCAD renewals and drive higher levels of customer retention and satisfaction, said Damian Hill, channel development manager for Datech Solutions.
“The idea is to make it easy and cost-efficient to maximise simple renewals. Many partners have a number of AutoCAD customers who have only one or two licenses. By embracing this digital renewal capability to manage the more transactional elements, they can spend more time supporting their customers and helping them to become more successful. With the automation capabilities available on our Datech Solutions Portal, it’s much simpler and more cost effective. It allows resellers to maximise their subscription renewals while optimising their own resources.”
Even if they don’t make use of the Renew Online tool, partners can make use of an automated process on the Datech Solutions Portal to keep in touch with their AutoCAD customers. Ready-made templates allow them to personalise emails with logos and signatures.
