Exertis Pro AV bolsters unified communications and collaboration team

Exertis Pro AV has made three new appointments to its Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) team. Andy Pollard, Pre-sales Architect, Haifa Jinadu, Pre-Sales Architect and Jon Grundy, UC&C Business Development Manager, will all report into Greg Bennett, Head of AV Solutions. The new recruits have almost 40 years’ experience between them.

The new appointments elevate Exertis Pro AV’s technical competency and relevance in the Poly video market for the UK. The team offers expert engagement and project design on Poly opportunities, not just with video end points and room design, but also by delivering design on complex infrastructure and integration projects.

Matched with Exertis Pro AV’s existing sales and solutions team, adding the pre-sales and professional services capability enables a complete end-to-end offering for customers.

Jon Grundy says, “Exertis are able to offer services to cover the full sales cycle across a range of vendors, from qualifying opportunities, and suggesting solutions, to installations and post-sales support. This coupled with the in-house experience across our portfolio means we can truly be a single point of contact/supplier for our resellers, whatever the requirement.”

Haifa Jinadu adds, “I’m really excited about being part of a team who can talk in confidence to partners and end-users about our VC and AV solutions.” Andy Pollard continues, “I’m looking forward to bringing my industry experience and continuing my career as a trusted technical advisor under the Exertis banner.”

Ian Aitken, Director, Exertis Pro AV, says, “We are incredibly excited to be expanding our UC team with the introduction of Andy, Haifa and Jon. As one of the UK’s leading distributors for Poly, we believe that the addition of these incredibly experienced individuals will help Exertis plug any gaps in the market.”

“Exertis will now be able to offer market-leading managed and professional services for Poly,” he continues. “In combination with our vast Pro AV and Unified Communications vendor portfolio, we will be cementing Exertis as a leading collaboration solutions distributor in the UK.”
