Go Instore launches two new services

Go Instore has launched two new services to supplement and enhance its live video offering: Broadcast_LIVE and Appointments.

Broadcast_LIVE gives retailers the opportunity to embrace the power of live selling through a live video broadcast stream. The broadcasts, which can be hosted on both a brand’s website and social media channels, support product demonstrations and fully staged virtual product launches. It comes with an interactive Q&A feature that gives consumers the ability to engage directly with their favourite brands’ in-store experts.

ndre Hordagoda, Co-Founder & CEO of Go Instore said: “The Broadcast_LIVE tool allows brands to reach an unlimited number of their customers in real-time, in an incredibly engaging way. With one in six shoppers adding to basket after a one-to-many session, our service will help further improve the digital experience and increase online revenues. The technology is easy to use, and streams can be hosted via the mobile app on a shopfloor or using the desktop version with external cameras for professional studio sets.”

Appointments enables consumers to book two-way personalised video calls with in-store experts at a time of their convenience, ensuring retailers are always able to deliver a high-quality sales experience to their customers. Appointments can either be created and implemented by Go Instore from an end-to-end service or can be designed to seamlessly integrate with retailers’ existing appointments system.

Hordagoda added: “Personal shopping experiences are a really important sales channel for retailers. They empower consumers to make complex purchasing decisions that often involve higher value items and can create positive sentiment for brands from consumers.  Appointments is a retail-first solution designed specifically to recreate these personal shopping experiences; 70% of calls made through Appointments end in a sale.”

“Video is the easy bit; many retailers have been experimenting with the likes of Zoom to little or no effect.  We’ve been fine-tuning live video for retail for over 6 years and understand all the nuances in creating a service that consistently delivers measured results; calls through our service have gone from 500 calls per day this time last year, to 500 calls every seven minutes last month. We want to help retailers realise the full potential of live video with solutions that create an engaging experience at every stage of their customers’ buying journey – that’s why we are launching these two new services,” Hordagoda said.
