Coolwave Communications has selected Cataleya to deploy its IP-based real-time communication platform, Orchid Cloud.
“Our network transformation is the next step in the evolution of Coolwave and will enable us to rapidly scale to serve new and growing segments. It is an opportunity to align our infrastructure with the emerging demands in the market and build a flexible foundation for long-term growth,” said Ronan Higgins, Commercial Director at Coolwave. “With Cataleya’s support, we will be expanding our presence and offering customers new levels of scalability and performance. Orchid Cloud gives us new capabilities that will directly benefit our growing customer base.”
Coolwave removes the barriers to incorporating voice and messaging into mobile apps, CPaaS platforms and Over-the-Top (OTT) services while expanding reach and capabilities for carriers. It carries more than a billion minutes of voice traffic per year with 99.999% availability. Coolwave bridges the gap between the traditional world of voice and messaging and the next generation of platforms, OTT services and applications.
“In an increasingly diverse and dynamic voice and messaging market, service providers like Coolwave are seeing the value in deploying cloud-based real-time communication platforms. Whether they are serving CPaaS providers, OTT players or traditional carriers, they need the flexibility and scalability to pivot to serve new demand,” said Andreas Hipp, CEO at Cataleya. “Our work with Coolwave will support its growth across new segments and markets. Together with its team, we have developed a roadmap of deployments that will enable it to seamlessly transform its network and offer maximum continuity to new and existing customers.”
Coolwave benefits from Cataleya’s network clusters, providing highly available and resilient services across multiple nodes. Each of these nodes can be managed via one central user interface from anywhere in the world. This enables Coolwave’s customers to experience high-quality connectivity and an enhanced service experience.
