The new AX3600 Wireless Dual Band Multi-Gigabit Ceiling Mount Access Point, the EAP660 HD is now available from TP-Link.
Featuring a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet Port and 4x increased capacity, users can connect more devices efficiently in high-density environments. With 8 spatial streams, multi-user throughput is increased to drive more applications and upgrade business networks.
The Omada EAP660 HD WiFi 6 Access Point features the latest 802.11ax technologies, including 1024 QAM and Long OFDM Symbol, allowing the EAP to boost speeds up to 3550 Mbps (2402 Mbps on a 5 GHz band and 1148 Mbps on a 2.4 GHz band).
Increased reliability
TP-Link’s Omada EAP660 HD delivers a powerful business network with higher efficiency, greater security, and increased reliability. The easy to use Omada app provides users with the convenience needed for today, as well as real-time updates on network usage and traffic distribution. Meanwhile, 100% centralised cloud management gives operators control of a whole network from numerous sites. Controlling anywhere at any time from a single interface is completely hassle free.
The EAP660 HD supports the WPA3 WiFi security standard and offers a secure guest network along with multiple authentication options (SMS/Facebook Wi-Fi/ Voucher, etc.), to provide users with high-grade security.
Meanwhile, the EAP660 HD is integrated with advanced features in order to boost network efficiency. Band steering allows for faster connections by automatically moving dual band devices onto wider 5GHz bands, while airtime fairness increases the average network throughput when in crowded environments. Compatibility with standard 802.3at PoE+ is ideal for flexible deployment. Finally, load balancing ensures large numbers of users have a flawless network journey in heavily populated business networks.
Will Liu, Managing Director of TP-Link UK said: “Many businesses require greater agility and control of their networks. With centralised cloud management for ultimate security and efficiency, the new EAP660 HD is the perfect device to help navigate the uptick in connectivity demand.
