Mark Laurie has been appointed as Hotdrop’s new head of business development at the gaming and esports creative marketing agency.
Laurie will be leaving his current role as Marketing Director at Utopia Computers after 14 years to embark on the new venture with the UK-based startup.
Heather Dower, Hotdrop Founder and CEO said,“It’s been an incredible first year for the team here at Hotdrop, as a group we’ve gone from strength to strength and we cannot wait for Mark to join us. His experience and market knowledge will help us springboard into our
next phase of development as an agency creating even more winning moments together with the industry.”
“I’m over the moon to be joining such a talented and well-respected team here at Hotdrop; what Heather and the team have achieved this year while navigating the pandemic is nothing short of amazing,” said Mark Laurie. “It’s not every day you get to follow your passion, so getting to work directly within esports with some of the world’s most recognisable brands really is a dream come true.”
