G2 esports partners with Domino’s Pizza to create experiential viewing events

Entertainment and esports brand, G2 has agreed a major commercial partnership with Domino’s Pizza Deutschland to co-create a variety of different unique experiences and opportunities for celebration for G2 fans and the broader esports community.

The initial agreement will see Domino’s become the Official Quick Service Restaurant Partner of G2 Esports in Germany.

The partnership will see a range of different activations developed to highlight the synergies between these two booming brands. Namely, G2 & Domino’s will create a range of original content designed to showcase how Domino’s will help bring esports fans together around their shared loves of pizza and gaming.

Domino’s will help G2 connect and feed fans via a variety of online streams, giveaways and community events. Their technology platform, including Domino’s Überall, will enable G2 to host larger and wider at-home experiences, so our fans can enjoy the League of Legends Worlds Championship together, as a community.

These concepts will showcase the ease in which streamers can use technology to place Domino’s orders without compromising the enjoyment of their favourite games.

It’s the second run by G2 and Domino’s for the League of Legends Worlds Championship and will culminate in a series of experiential activations around major G2 Esports matches. These moments will see a series of viewing events developed that will aim to bring esports fans together to sample a range of Domino’s products and enjoy an array of fresh pizzas and dishes as they support G2 through the ups and downs of the esports calendar.

To kick-start this partnership, Domino’s is offering G2 fans in Germany 15% off to celebrate their return to the League of Legends Worlds Championship. As the competition ramps up, fans can expect more ways to enjoy fresh pizza as they support the G2 League of Legends team from home or elsewhere. This announcement is the second major commercial partnership that G2 Esports has announced within a month.
