Collabtech’s newly appointed president, Jon Sidwick will be joining the global provider of collaboration and AV enablement solutions, as part of a growth and innovation strategy, which includes establishing a European headquarters in the UK.
Also newly appointed is Maverick Collaboration lead Jane Hammersley who will be joining the business as senior vice president global alliances, and will focus on developing collaborative solutions for clients.
Jon Sidwick, president of Collabtech explains how the company’s evolvement over the past few years has lead to the it becoming one of the most exciting and agile businesses in the market right now: “They have a unique set of skills deployed with care and the highest quality for the channel. Strong industry roots
Formerly at Maverick AV Solutions, Jon and Jane created a world leading AV and collaboration business delivering innovation, channel partnerships and multi-vendor solutions to the market. The business grew to the market leader in the merging AV/IT space, deploying solutions for thousands of meeting spaces annually. Jon continues as Vice Chairman of the industry association AVIXA, working with leaders throughout the world to create industry development opportunities, diversity and growth within the market.
Jane Hammersley, SVP global alliances reflects on the ray of light and business growth amidst the Coronavirus saying: “The current crisis is driving unprecedented usage of meeting platforms that require end to end digital workflow deployment. CollabTech is seeing a massive increase in demand, leading to recent global investment and expansion in its service set, designed to help the channel to evolve rapidly and in a more customer focussed way than ever before.”
New beginnings
Collabtech Founder Shawn Leonard adds: “Jon and Jane bring unique UC experience and deep channel relationships which will help the business to scale and meet the exponential growth we are seeing in the space right now. Shawn will remain as Chair of the board and majority shareholder, actively involved in the business’s direction and strategy. The business has a new European head office in the UK and will be adding to the leadership and deployment teams to reinforce current customer programmes and help develop and deploy emerging platform centric services.
Collabtech provides physical and virtual enablement services in over 110 countries. Working through the channel to support integrators and end users, Collabtech’s clients include manufacturers, distributors and platform partners as well as integrators in UC, IT and AV.
