bluedog Security Monitoring – which aims to make cybersecurity monitoring accessible to businesses of all sizes – is expanding into the Indian market with the appointment of a new distributor.
Prasoft is a value-added distributor and reseller which supplies IT solutions to businesses throughout India from its offices in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chenna and Noida.
Prasoft will offer bluedog’s full range of services including its Microsoft Office 365 monitoring solution, which can be activated remotely and is ideal for companies with staff working from home, and its full managed detection and response service covering all aspects of a company’s IT systems.
bluedog, which is based in London with a security operations centre in the Phillippines, has developed a new business model to reduce the cost of 24-hour cybersecurity monitoring. Previously such services have been affordable only to large corporates.
Vijay Maligi, managing director of Prasoft, said: “Many Indian businesses are migrating to the Microsoft 365 cloud-based platform and supplying the bluedog service alongside it offers them added value. With phishing attacks and data loss becoming more common, monitoring allows companies to prevent such problems, safeguard their data and see how it is being used.”
