MSI will be showcasing a number of new products at CES 2020, including the world’s first 1000R curved gaming monitor, a 240Hz monitor designed for esports, and more.
Here’s what to expect from MSI’s booth at The Venetian, Veronese 2402 between 7th and 10th Jan:
The world’s first 1000R curved gaming monitor (pictured above)
Optix MAG342CQR is the world’s first 1000R curved gaming monitor. Equipped with the curvature of 1000R, which is the same as human eyeballs, Optix MAG342CQR will bring you the most comfortable viewing experience and will ensure you a longer gaming
period without fatigue by eliminating eye strain.
The world’s first HMI-oriented gaming system
Based on the success found in the high-end desktop market, MSI has launched two more flagship products at CES this year, the MEG Aegis Ti5 gaming desktop and the MEG381CQR curved gaming monitor. Aegis Ti5 and MEG381CQR not only have the highest level of hardware specifications currently on the market but also come with the HMI (Human Machine Interface) design that is popular in the automotive industry. While other major brands are still specialising in system performance, MSI has introduced the HMI concept into product design. Through the MCU (MSI Commander Unit) technology developed exclusively by MSI, Aegis Ti5 and MEG381CQR can display real-time system information on the LCD in front of the system. With the exclusive knob design, players can quickly optimise the system performance and enjoy the excellent gaming experience brought by high-end systems.
MEG Aegis Ti5 is equipped with the latest generation of Intel processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti graphics card. With MSI’s exclusive Silent Storm Cooling 4 cooling, running at 3A isn’t a difficult task. Players get to enjoy supreme fluency and screen immersion with the MEG381CQR 38-inch 2300R IPS curved monitor, 21: 9 screen ratio with 144Hz, and 1ms screen response time.
Creator 400 Series desktop chassis
Creator 400 is the first desktop chassis dedicated to content creation, multi-tasking, and even gaming. Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, Creator 400 series’ exterior took design cues from the golden ratio. Its perfectly proportioned exterior brings paramount aesthetic life experience to creative workers.
The exterior of the Creator 400 series adopts a fierce but modest space grey colour that is fitting of designers. With a side-opening glass side panel design, the Creator 400 is equipped with a tempered glass that is also the industry’s first laminated glass with a thickness of 5.38mm. At the same time, the front, top and right side of the interior comes with high-density sound-absorbing cotton, making the Creator 400 series a quiet workstation for content creators.
MAG Core Liquid 240R & MAG Core Liquid 360R Series
MSI has also stepped into the cooling market by launching MSI ’s first AIO liquid cooling products: MAG Core Liquid 240R and MAG Core Liquid 360R series as well as the MAG Core Liquid 240RH and MAG Core Liquid 360RH series that comes equipped with MSI’s intelligent ARGB controller-MPG MAX iHUB.
The MAG Core Liquid series uses the MSI exclusive 270-degree rotating water-cooling head design, granting users with easier wire installation. The motor uses a reliable ceramic bearing with a life expectancy of up to 100,000 hours. Unlike other AIO liquid cooling products, the motor is moved to the water-cooled row to reduce the damage and noise caused by the extra vibration on the motherboard and the CPU.
Optix MAG251RX eSports gaming monitor
MSI will also introduce its latest flat eSports gaming monitor: Optix MAG251R, which supports the latest NVIDIA G-Sync compatible technology, accompanied with extremely high refresh rate of 240Hz and fast response time of 1ms, giving gamers the smoothest gaming experience.
The mystic light feature allows you to personalise your gaming rig, giving you a full grip of your game in a blink of an eye. Moreover, Optix MAG251RX will bring you amazing visual experiences through the IPS panel with VESA certificated HDR 400.
Optix MAG251RX is the first MSI gaming monitor that utilised the extremely coveted NVIDIA G-Sync compatible technology. With the NVIDIA G-Sync compatible technology, Optix MAG251RX can produce stunning tearing-free visuals. This gives gamers a buttery smooth
gaming experience and allows gamers to react to scenes that are true to the situation.
