Target reveals workshop lineup for annual Open Day

Target Components has finalised details of its annual Open Day on 27th September in Bradford.

Celebrating its 21st anniversary, the distributor will be building on last year’s event with a record number of resellers taking part in a full day of business workshops, exhibitions, product demonstrations and networking. This will be followed by a free bar, evening dinner and entertainment that’s likely to go on well into the next morning.

This year’s Open Day also sees a record number of new vendors taking part – Seagate, AFox, Ubiquiti, Uniview, AF, Transcend and latest Target signings, MSI, will all be exhibiting for the first time, alongside regulars such as BullGuard, Gigabyte, Cooler Master, ASRock, HPE and Team Group. There will be 37 exhibition stands in total.

In addition to vendor presentations, a range of industry experts will be running workshops on subjects such as cybercrime, social media, SEO and the latest channel and market trends. Target’s own business advisory arm, ShopTalk, will be also be offering insights on how attendees can streamline, boost and maximise the effectiveness of their businesses in three all-new workshops.

Three all-new ShopTalk workshops (including a Business Brainstorm) will deliver hints and tips on how you can make your business more profitable. Vendors old and new will be offering insights and product roadmaps as well as introductions to their ranges. Other non-vendor presenters, like Social Progress, will be advising on how to make social media work for you, while the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Organised Crime Unit will be advising on how to spot cybercrime and what to do about it. Open Day regulars GfK and Context will be providing channel insights and market trends. You can check out the full workshop lineup here.
