WatchGuard Technologies has signed a UK distribution agreement with Oxfordshire-based Purdicom, which specialises in delivering networking, wireless and cloud-based solutions.
WatchGuard’s security technology incorporates a full suite of services needed to provide enterprise-grade security to mid-sized organisations, including: advanced services for protecting against evolving malware, ransomware and data breaches, as well as traditional intrusion prevention, gateway antivirus, application control, spam prevention and URL filtering.
WatchGuard also offers multi-factor authentication, secure Wi-Fi and network intelligence products.
“The Purdicom and WatchGuard partnership promises a 360-degree solution, which is straightforward and simple to integrate,” said Steve Kent, sales and marketing director at Purdicom.
“With two tiers of security services, Basic and Total Security Suite, WatchGuard provides security solutions for a wide range of vertical markets backed up by a strong reputation for supporting its channel partners.”
Earlier this year, WatchGuard introduced its new WatchGuardONE Partner Programme to “minimise barriers to entry and ensure maximum return on investment for the channel”. The Partner Programme enables resellers to have individual specialisations in either network security, secure Wi-Fi or multi-factor authentication, to reach full WatchGuardONE status. With WatchGuardONE status comes financial incentives and sales, marketing and technical support, and there are no revenue threshold requirements.
