ISE 2019: ASUS unveils projectors, Mini PCs and sets new server performance world record

ASUS has showcased a new lineup of solutions for content creation, conferencing and virtual meetings, and retail at ISE 2019.

This 34-inch curved IPS monitor is HDR10 ready and features UWQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Ideal for creative professionals, gamers and home entertainment, ProArt PA34VC features excellent colour accuracy, Adaptive Sync technology for fluid visuals and refresh rates of up to 100Hz.

ProArt PA34VC features DisplayPort, HDMI and Thunderbolt 3, which offers up to 40Gbps data transfer speeds and 60W of power delivery to external devices. The built-in picture-in-picture (PiP) and picture-by-picture (PbP) modes allow content to be viewed from multiple sources simultaneously. ProArt PA34VC offers hardware-calibration with ASUS ProArt Calibration technology and is compatible with external calibrators to let users create and save colour profiles directly to the monitor.

ASUS Mini PC ProArt PA90

The ASUS Mini PC ProArt PA90 is a workstation-class PC suited for professional content creation. It features 9th Generation Intel Core processors, NVIDIA Quadro graphics, and support for Intel Optane technology for fast transfers of large files or boosted storage capacity. It is also equipped with Thunderbolt 3 and a quiet liquid-cooling solution.

ASUS F1 Full HD LED Projector

This new projector is equipped with a short-throw, all-glass lens that is able to project a 210-inch image at a distance of 3.7 meters. A cinema-grade projector, it features an autofocus lens and native Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution.

Other specs include a RGB LED light source and 1,200-lumen, 100% NTSC colours, and horizontal and auto vertical keystone adjustment, as well as autofocus and dual HDMI and VGA ports.

ASUS Hangouts Meet hardware kit

The ASUS Hangouts Meet hardware kit is a HD smart video-conferencing solution. The package includes the compact ASUS Chromebox 3 computer powered by an up to Intel Core i7 processor, and a 4K UHD camera with a wide 120o field of view.

The kit also comes with a touchscreen control panel for one-touch meeting management, and a high-quality speaker-mic box that employs echo-cancellation and noise-suppression technologies. It’s even possible to daisy-chain speaker mics to ensure that everyone in a larger room can hear and be heard.

For retail environments, the new VT229H enables fast, responsive 10-point multi-touch input on a 21.5-inch, Full HD, frameless IPS panel that offers ultra-wide viewing angles of up to 178-degrees.

Optimised for use with Windows 10, VT229H delivers vivid visuals and features TÜV Rheinland-certified Flicker-Free and Low Blue Light technologies. When paired with an ASUS Mini PC, it’s a cost-effective alternative to industrial point-of-sales (POS) systems or interactive kiosks.

ASUS Mini PC PN Series and Mini PC PB Series

Also in the retail environment, ASUS has introduced its Mini PC PN series and PB series, which it says have been extensively tested to deliver 24/7 reliability and long-term dependability.

Powered by up to 8th Generation Intel Core processors and featuring DDR4 memory and a dual-storage design, they boast comprehensive connectivity and have been created with energy efficiency in mind, to both reduce environmental impact and lower operating costs.

Fastest 2P and 1P server performance

Along with its new line-up of products, ASUS has announced that its 2P (2-socket) servers now hold 129 top-performance benchmark world records for computing-intensive performance as recognised by the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation (SPEC).

ASUS 1P (single-socket) servers powered by the latest Intel Xeon E platform also earned 8 world records, marking the first time ever they have achieved a No.1 performance ranking.
