Synaxon UK opens its doors to 90 PCRN community members

Synaxon UK has structured a new membership deal to welcome the PCRN (Approved PC Retail Network) community of independent IT retailers.

The purpose of the deal is to offer the PCRN community full access to all of the benefits offered through Synaxon membership.

“We already had a handful of independent retailers from the PCRN community on board with Synaxon, this deal simply formalises the process to on-boarding and offers PCRN members the benefits of Synaxon membership,” said Derek Jones, MD at Synaxon UK.

PCRN is a UK-wide group of established and independent ‘bricks-and -mortar’ PC and laptop specialists offering repairs, servicing and advice to businesses and home users in their local area.

As well as break-fix repairs and maintenance they can carry out virus removals and many also offer remote support services.

Phil Barnfield, managing director of PC Clinic Technologies and a spokesperson and community member of the PCRN, added: “This is great news for the PCRN community. I have been a member of Synaxon for the past six months and the service and support has been excellent. One of the main drivers for this new collaboration is easy access to the F-Secure portal from within Synaxon’s EGIS platform. This means that all of the PCRN community can now enjoy ease of access, simplified purchasing and improved pricing around the full F-Secure range.”
