IFA 2018 kicks off on Friday 31st August

IFA is back at the Messe Berlin Exhibition Grounds for another showcase of the latest technology on Friday.

Last year, the show set a new standard by completely selling out 159,000 square meters of show floor space to 1,805 exhibitors, confirming IFA’s role as the leading event for the global technology industry.

IFA 2018 will not only host more innovation and product launches than any previous event, it also will present more digital lifestyle products in one place than any other show worldwide.

Attendees from more than 100 countries will get to see the latest products and innovations in the heart of Europe’s most important regional market.

IFA 2018 takes place at the Messe Berlin Exhibition Grounds from 31st August – 5th September. In addition, IFA Global Markets, Europe’s largest B2B sourcing platform, will be held from 2nd – 5th September at STATION-Berlin. IFA Global Markets enhances the information and exhibitions offered for professionals and industry experts in a 20,000-square-meter exhibition ground.

This year’s show will again feature the IFA NEXT stage for innovation. The successful concept of this innovation hub will again be hosted in Hall 26, but the concept and space will be significantly expanded in 2018.

Together, startups, research laboratories, universities, and established companies introduce tomorrow’s ideas, products, and solutions in the field of consumer electronics and home appliances. The IFA Keynotes, IFA+ Summit and the IFA Hosted Conferences will also be held in Hall 26. The main goal: to focus even more on innovation and providing visitors and the media with the latest trends and topics all together in one place.

New for 2018 is Shift AUTOMOTIVE, a biannual Convention on the future of mobility. The convention, also hosted in Hall 26, will explore how new automotive technologies are changing our mobility and impacting our lives.
