AOC to unveil new AGON gaming monitors at Gamescom 2018

AOC will present brand new additions to its AGON premium gaming monitor line-up at this year’s Gamescom.

The new AGON 3 Series monitors will debut with two curved 27”, QHD monitors: the AG273QCX with FreeSync 2 HDR and PC-VESA DisplayHDR 400 support, 1 ms MPRT, 144 Hz refresh rate, and the AG273QCG with G-SYNC support, 1 ms GtG and 165 Hz refresh rate.

AOC’s AGON line-up has been much appreciated by pro-gamers and esports players in many tournaments ever since their debut in 2016, says the company.

AOC’s AGON 3 Series features an aggressive curvature of 1800R combined with the 3-sides-frameless design to immerse and draw gamers in. Designed with LAN-parties and large gaming conventions in mind, the AGON 3 Series comes with a one click-mechanism for extra easy assembly and a carrying handle built in to the stand.

The redesigned, angular V-shaped stand takes up less desk space and offers full ergonomic adjustments in height and swivel. Highly customisable ring shaped RGB lights (AGON Game Lights), a new, redesigned controller (AGON Game Pad) for on-the-fly access to various features, and the beloved headset-holder now on both sides to offer more flexibility complete the new design approach to the AGON 3 Series.

The AG273QCG has also been honoured with the Red Dot Design Award 2018.

The AOC AGON AG273QCG (G-SYNC) is expected to be available in Europe starting from November 2018, and the AOC AGON AG273QCX (Freesync2 HDR) from December 2018.

Gamescom 2018 will be held at the Cologne Exhibition Centre in Germany from 21st – 25th August. Visitors can experience the entire AOC AGON range in the Entertainment area in Hall 10.1 Stand E041.
