Kaspersky extends Ingram Micro distribution agreement

Kaspersky Lab has extended its distribution agreement with Ingram Micro to include all countries within the EU and the EFTA.

The new MSP distribution agreement will enable Ingram Micro to offer customers “best-of-breed cybersecurity solutions” through the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, and for Kaspersky Lab to “leverage Ingram Micro’s industry leading expertise and reach”.

Ingram Micro customers can now explore and benefit from the Kaspersky Lab product portfolio through the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace, which will be introducing bundles of Kaspersky Lab software with other vendors for partners’ benefit.

The partnership enables customers to gain from Ingram Micro’s expertise in Office 365 and the new Kaspersky Lab product portfolio, which has been specifically tailored to protect Microsoft Office 365 users.

Renee Bergeron, senior vice president, Ingram Micro Cloud said: “By adding Kaspersky Lab to our cloud solutions portfolio in Europe, Ingram Micro continues to deliver a significant value to its resellers by providing access to a proven leader in the security industry. It allows our customers to easily expand their portfolio and cross sell more cloud solutions. We are proud to add yet another valuable player in the field of security as the rise of cyber crime continues to accelerate.”

Commenting on the new agreement Russ Madley, head of B2B, Channel for UK&I, Kaspersky Lab, added: “Ingram Micro’s Cloud Marketplace is perfectly aligned to Kaspersky Lab’s Managed Service Provider Program. We have worked with Ingram Micro for years across the world and are delighted that our partnership has been extended across Europe.

“This will mean that an increased number of users will have easy access to our security software – which continues to be the most independently tested and awarded solution and receive multiple accolades – through Ingram Micro’s Cloud Marketplace. Ingram is one of the best distributors when it comes to cloud solutions and we are excited to be furthering the work that we do with them.”
