AOC and MMD has reported growth four times the total recorded in the overall monitor market.
AOC has seen one of the highest increases in market shares in the last quarter with 15.4 per cent growth. This represents an increase of almost four times that of the growth in the whole European monitor market. AOC and MMD, license partners for Philips monitors, have now grown for the eighth consecutive quarter and have continued to increase their market share. The contribution of greater productivity, new larger and curved monitors as well as the widespread adoption of gaming monitors has helped the brands thrive.
Stefan Sommer, director of Marketing and Business Management in Europe believes that the quality of the products are reflected in the strong results. “When it comes to design, ergonomics, picture quality, features, user-friendliness or environmental friendliness, we at AOC and MMD have been working towards being more innovative than ever; and this is reflected in our excellent growth figures,” he said. “AOC has especially anticipated the growth of volume in the gaming sector and has increased its market presence immensely, which is reflected in the figures.”
