Transputec has appointed a new director of Services as it continues its expansion plans.
Stuart Salt comes in to lead the Services team, bringing more than 20 years of experience within the IT Channel with him. Salt has held several in-house and consultancy roles including his own consultancy, Valiant Consulting where he was responsible for the delivery of a client’s procurement programme and assurance of a large £12million outsourcing contract.
Salt said: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Transputec and I am looking forward to growing the Services division by fostering existing client relationships, attracting new customers and ensuring Transputec’s products and services continue to meet and exceed customers’ needs. In addition to consultancies and large corporate structures, I have worked within the SME space – a sector that is dynamic and flexible but also comes with its unique set of constraints and challenges.
“I understand these and enjoy the challenges of growing a business of this size. Transputec has an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset with an excellent reputation for professional services (PCR Managed Services Provider of the Year 2017) and cutting edge solutions like ThreatSpike and CrisesControl in the Cybersecurity field. It’s a strong foundation to build upon.
Transputec chairman Rickie Sehgal is equally excite to welcome Salt into the fold. He said: “We are happy to welcome Stuart to the Transputec Board. His broad experience and track record will stand us in good stead with our future plans to consolidate and deepen our expertise in key sectors such as housing and digital media, in which Stuart has great expertise.
“We have enjoyed a couple of years of positive growth. In the last financial year we took on 45 new customers including global financial services, retail, logistics and manufacturing companies, and international NGOs.”
