Basingstoke-based distributor Exertis has announced that it will hold its second Plug in to Exertis channel event on 19 April at Silverstone Circuit. The event will provide the opportunity for resellers and retailers to get full visibility of the range of technologies and services that Exertis provides, in addition to strengthening their relationships with its vendor partners.
“Our technology portfolio ranges from consumer products to enterprise solutions. This event is an ideal opportunity for customers, existing or prospective, to find out more about what’s new and emerging in their particular area of specialisation, and to look at complementary areas of technology that could profitably be added to their solutions, said Paul Bryan, Exertis UK managing director.
“Services also play an increasingly important role in the channel and aligned to the technologies that we offer, we have a wide range that our retailers and resellers can use to create additional value propositions for their customers. We have some great use cases that we will share on the day.”
The event will feature focused areas applicable to business: AV, PC, Print, Components, Enterprise and Mobile; and to consumers: Smart Tech and Networking, Premium Audio & TV, Gadgets & Accessories and Gaming. Each area will host: an exhibition space with solutions and products from Exertis’ leading range of vendors and a seminar programme on hot technology topics delivered by industry specialists.
In addition, Mark Gallagher and David Coulthard will be guest speakers relaying the business lessons that can be derived from creating winning teams in this highly competitive world; one where performance is everything. Mark Gallagher has worked in senior management roles at Jordan Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing and Cosworth, and David Coulthard is one of Formula One’s most successful drivers, winning Grands Prix on 13 occasions including twice winning the prestigious British and Monaco Grands Prix.
Last year the Plug in to Exertis event attracted 950 visitors, 107 vendors attended, and 17 seminars were delivered. Resellers and retailers can register and find further information on the 2018 event at www.exertis.co.uk/plugin.
Speaking to PCR, Exertis retail director Mike Buley said: "We were pleased with the attendance and the interest in the seminars that we ran as part of the programme. The feedback was excellent."
