Ci ties up distribution deal with Juniper Systems

It’s been a wild couple of months for Basingstoke-based Ci Distribution, announcing a flurry of partnerships with vendors such as MMD and Kanguru among others (along with signing on as the headline partner for the PCR Awards). Now the distributor has followed that all up with news that it has gone into business with rugged specialist Juniper Systems. Ci Distribution will be supplying a range of Juniper Systems products, including the Mesa 2 Tablet, Allegro 2, Archer 2 and Geode GPS Receiver.

Based out of Utah, USA, and Birmingham, UK, Juniper Systems designs and manufactures ultra-rugged handheld computers and provides field data collection solutions for use in extreme environments. Since 1993, Juniper Systems has provided innovative technology to the Geomatics, GIS, Natural Resources, Utilities, Public Services, Energy, and Military markets.

Juniper Systems is a fantastic addition to Ci Distribution’s ever-expanding portfolio.” says Jon Atherton, Ci Group commercial director. “I am always proud to witness our customer base growing from strength to strength. As rugged specialists, having a partner whose speciality is in ultra-rugged devices allows us access to a wider variety of verticals. We are very much looking forward to working with Juniper Systems, and are excited about what the future holds for both parties as a result of this great partnership.”

“We are excited to partner with CI Distribution”, added Simon Bowe, general manager of Juniper Systems Limited in Birmingham, U.K. “We’re always looking to partner with high-quality resellers and distributors, particularly when those partnerships support the U.K. economy. Our ultra-rugged devices and GPS/GNSS solutions will now be even easier for resellers to obtain, thanks to CI Distribution’s broad reach and extensive customer base”.
