Toshiba projects ambitious revenue growth for 2018

With the catalogue of problems that hit Toshiba in 2017 finally put to bed, the firm’s Business Display Solutions arm is predicting a strong 2018. In fact, Toshiba has announced ambitious revenue growth predictions for the coming 12 months, as it aims to double year-on-year revenue.

Despite the problems behind the scenes last year, Toshiba’s Business Display Solutions unit actively increased its number of European partners by 75 per cent (year-on-year) in 2017. The company also expanded into new regions with projects in the Middle East, Far East and Africa expected to account for as much as 25 per cent of revenue growth in 2018.

The news comes ahead of ISE where Toshiba is to display its range of active digital signage display and commercial TV models that has grown from 16 devices to 36 over the past 12 months.
