Tech Data Announces Windows 10 Enterprise E3 subscription for smaller businesses

Tech data has announced that it will be offering Windows 10 Enterprise E3 as a subscription to small businesses (SMBs). The fully automated for cloud service providers (CSPs) will be available via subscription from Tech Data’s Cloud Solutions Store.

The addition of Windows 10 Enterprise E3 in CSP means the distributor now helps solution providers in the Americas and Europe of all sizes to manage features available through the enterprise-grade edition of Windows 10.

Businesses will also be able to gain access to the latest security packages like CSP cloud solutions like Office 365 (O365), Azure, Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS), and Dynamics Customer Relationship Management Online (CRMOL).

John Tonnison, executive vice president, Cloud Computing and chief information officer at Tech Data said: “Tech Data is well-positioned to rapidly mobilise and deploy Microsoft cloud offerings like Windows 10 Enterprise E3, ensuring our service providers can be the first to integrate Microsoft’s ground-breaking cloud innovations into the solutions they deliver to their customers.

We are proud to launch Windows 10 Enterprise E3, and we’re excited for the new possibilities available to our reseller customers.”

As managed cloud solutions gain momentum, smaller businesses are looking for all-in-1 security packages that are affordable and simple to manage. Without the same budgets as much larger businesses, these companies often find themselves lacking the same options when it comes to similar managed services and solutions.

David Smith, vice president, Worldwide SMB at Microsoft said: “Through Windows 10 Enterprise E3, Tech Data is helping SMBs around the globe realise the full value of Windows security and management capabilities.

“The managed service offering is ideal for small businesses with limited resources and Tech Data is a trusted and experienced partner that can help facilitate the transaction.”

SMBs are, slowly but surely, seeing managed services that they can afford and find beneficial to their businesses without having to compromise on the quality of their services. If this trend continues, these companies will find themselves being able to compete more effectively against their competition in the marketplace.
