Resellers vote Exertis as Context UK distributor of the year

Tech resellers have voted Exertis broadline distributor of the year for 2015/2016 as part of the Context ChannelWatch survey.

The online reseller survey aims to provide insight into reseller behaviour, opinions and attitudes. The ChannelWatch distributor of the year is awarded on the basis of a number of weighted factors, including the number of nominations for the award, and the average rating across a number of distributor performance criteria.

“Exertis won this award because a high proportion of those who marked them down as their main distributor went on to nominate them for the award. Amongst a number of performance criteria, they scored particularly highly for their speed of delivery and their credit terms.” said Theo Gibbons, Context marketing manager.

Paul Bryan, Exertis UK MD for IT and mobile, said: “We are delighted to have received this accolade voted for by resellers that took part in the ChannelWatch survey conducted by Context.

"It’s great testament to the dedication and hard work of our employees right across the business from our sales and commercial teams to our logistics and finance personnel. Our aim is to always deliver more for our customers and we appreciate their support."

In other news, Exertis has announced a distribution agreement with digital signage software vendor Smartsign.

Smartsign Manager is a digital signage product that lets users create and display content on any platform and device. It has applications across vertical markets from corporate business to hotels, restaurants, transport, retail, healthcare and education, and supports all major hardware.

Ian Aitken, Exertis general manager for AV, said: “Smartsign complements our existing LFD partnerships and our strategy for providing an end-to-end AV solution for our customers. For resellers and systems integrators, it’s an opportunity to deliver a profitable services wrap around their AV business and deliver digital signage as part of a cloud service offering that can provide content to their end user’s display.”
