Exertis secures distribution agreement with StorageCraft

Exertis has secured a distribution agreement with StorageCraft, a multi-award winning vendor of backup, disaster recovery, system migration, virtualisation, data protection software and services solutions.

Exertis will be introducing the full range of StorageCraft products and opportunities to existing customers and actively recruiting new partners.

Jason Hill, Exertis’ enterprise solutions sales director, said: “Disaster recovery is a mission critical requirement for every business and StorageCraft is well known for providing rapid system and data recovery solutions.

“Surprisingly, many end customers have no business continuity plans and with the disaster recovery market set to grow ten-fold over the next few years reseller partners now have the perfect opportunity to provide a simple to manage, high performance and proven back-up and recovery solution for all their customers.”

Marvin Blough, StorageCraft vice-president of worldwide sales, added: “We are delighted to work with Exertis in both the UK and Irish markets. This agreement is a win-win situation for all parties involved, especially solution providers and their end customers. Exertis will enable us to significantly grow our partner network through its dedicated enterprise team.”

Channeliser IT networking service launches

Channeliser, an independent global network for IT companies, that enables technology vendors and channel partners to improve how commercial IT partnerships are sourced, formed, nurtured and grown, has formally launched.

The free to join and vendor neutral network enables IT vendors, VARs, IT services firms and distributors to intelligently locate the most suitable partners, connect and communicate with each other, market themselves more professionally, expand into new markets and sectors, and diversify their product portfolios rapidly and with greater efficiency.

The British business was founded by Jacqui Rand and Anne Lambton, two technology entrepreneurs, who have held many channel roles, including at Microsoft UK. Channeliser is global and growing fast, with already over 1700 members across 65 countries.

“IT firms waste a huge amount of time searching for and building partnerships and we know that significant improvements are possible. Channeliser, quite simply, solves this problem,” commented Rand.
