Exertis has secured an exclusive UK distribution agreement with advanced security vendor LogPoint.
LogPoint enables businesses to live up to compliance regulation, optimise their enterprise’s potential and protect valuable assets. LogPoint SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) collates millions of data logs from disparate systems in an organisation and extracts meaningful information that can be acted upon.
Exertis and LogPoint’s team of UK based technical experts will provide pre and post-sales support for resellers including proof of concept and evaluation, installation and script writing services.
“LogPoint complements our existing portfolio of networking and network security solutions, giving our partners a new and exciting proposition. LogPoint’s incredible leading edge technology and very competitive cost means we can offer a genuinely compelling alternative to other SIEM applications,” said Gareth Bray, Exertis’ head of commercial for enterprise solutions.
“Combined with Exertis’ full services wrap including scope, design, proof of concept, training, installation and 24 x 7 support, we can ensure our partners have a complete offering with assistance at every point of the sale.”
LogPoint is the only European SIEM accredited to the premium EAL3+ “NATO” standard and works with any network and software product. It includes a wide range of out-of-the-box reporting templates that can be modified, easy to manage dashboards and a scalable architecture.
Graeme Stewart, LogPoint’s UK&I managing director, commented: “I am delighted to be able to confirm our new partnership with Exertis. LogPoint is focused on disrupting the established SIEM vendor space with our emphasis on what the customer really needs – simplicity, ease of use and realistic commercial models.
“Exertis is a natural partner in this enterprise, with an obviously complementary product portfolio and extremely strong technical capabilities, meaning that our ambitious expansion plans are well within reach.”
