Cooler Master UK’s new marketing specialist Katie Pinnock has spoken to PCR about her role and hinted at some exciting new changes to the business.
She joined the components and accessories vendor this week, after spending almost three years with Aria PC (which this week outlined a new direction and plans to downsize).
Pinnock replaces Christopher Gough – who left Cooler Master last year – and will be working with the media, from online and print publications to YouTube channels.
As well as working on advertising and branding campaigns, Pinnock will also be taking on some channel sales accounts, including retailers, etailers and system integrators.
She will be working alongside Cooler Master’s Adrian Liu, who was named UK country manager earlier this year.
Pinnock told PCR: "I knew about the changes that were going on at Cooler Master, and I thought it was an exciting opportunity to get involved.
"I obviously wanted to put all the experience I had into Cooler Master and help them grow with the changes that are going on. So it’s a really exciting opportunity; I just want to make the best of all the products that they’re launching and the road they’re going down."
She hinted at ‘new product launches’ to come from Cooler Master at the Computex 2016 trade show, which takes place from May 31st to June 4th in Taipei.
There will be more than 30 new products before the end of 2016, and most of these will be on show at the company’s Computex booth, located at Nangang Exhibition Hall, stand M0820 (4th Floor).
The VIP Room location will be at Nangang Exhibition Hall, room 614 (6th Floor).
Cooler Master unveiled a new direction last year, with its ‘Make It Yours’ tagline and MasterCase offering, so you can expect more from the company in this area.
Pinnock added: "There’s a lot of exciting things happening, which are going to be beneficial not only to us but for our partners, because we’re doing everything in our power for the end user now.
"Adrian and I are going to work very hard as a team to grow the UK business as much as we possibly can. And obviously we want our retailers, etailers and distribution, as well as the media, to help us along the way as much as they can."
She also thanked Aria PC: "That was my first job in this industry. Aria opened a lot of opportunities and doors for me, so I’ll be grateful for that for a long time."
