Exertis has announced that it will be offering resellers the opportunity to purchase Plantronics Device-as a-Service Flex (DaaS Flex) offerings.
The DaaS package – facilitated by Exertis Credit Services – offers a 12, 24 or 36 monthly payment option that guarantees the replacement or servicing of Plantronics headsets.
The package can be applied to Plantronics UC products including Blackwifi, Voyager, Savi and Calisto families for headsets and ‘any’ vertical market.
DaaS Continuity guarantees working headsets for the life of the contract; DaaS Care provides technical assistance and advance replacement; DaaS Refresh replaces parts on used headsets for reallocation and DaaS Upgrade enables customers to add, change or upgrade headsets.
“By adding this to a sale, the reseller can win more deals and gain the benefit of a continuing revenue stream,” said Phil Brown, IT sales and commercial director at Exertis.
In other news, Exertis has been named UK and Ireland distributor for KEMP Technologies’ full range of hardware and virtual Application Delivery Controllers (ADCs) and load balancing solutions.
KEMP hopes the deal will strengthen its position in the ADC market and drive sales of new appliances along with technologies for public and private clouds and SDN/NFV environments.
Exertis joins Getech and Zycko as KEMP distribution partners in the UK and Ireland.
Exertis has been working with KEMP for two years helping customers to replace Microsoft’s end-of-life Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG) with KEMP’s Edge Security Pack (ESP).
“Having been impressed with the results of our joint TMG replacement programme, we are very excited to be working with Exertis with this expanded remit, covering all markets in the UK and Ireland,” said Ed Martin, regional director, Northern Europe for Kemp Technologies.
As a distribution partner with Dell Sonic Wall, Exertis will also give KEMP access to a new customers for its LoadMaster bare metal ADC running on Dell PowerEdge Rack Servers.
