Distributor VIP Computers has announces the departure of its director, Duncan McAuley, after 11 years at the helm of the Warrington based company.
McAuley, who joined VIP in 2005, will be stepping out of the UK distribution business from the end of January 2016, and for the foreseeable future will be part of the VIP Group.
Commenting on his departure, McAuley said: “Having been with VIP UK for over a decade I feel that now is the right time for me to step out of the business. VIP UK has just announced its best-ever half-yearly results, based upon a sound strategy that is delivering solid growth and profitability. Over the past year VIP has strengthened its foundations to offer great opportunities to its vendors and customers.
He continued: “I will now be looking to take a well-earned break and to consider new opportunities, either within the VIP Group or externally. I would like to thank the team at VIP UK for all their support over the years and wish them well in their endeavours.”
VIP Group chairman, Jatti Sahni, added: “I would like to thank Duncan for his valued contribution over the past 11 years. He’s played an important part in the growth of the business, which has helped VIP UK become the distributor of choice in the IT industry. I look forward to his continued contribution within the VIP Group.”
