TD Azlan backs Citrix’s plans to drive growth of solutions to SMBs

Azlan has welcomed Citrix’s plans to revitalise SMB sales of its core Citrix Work Space Suite solution for partners.

The enterprise value added distribution business of Tech Data will be setting out its own programme to support the vendor’s efforts at the forthcoming Citrix Partner Accelerator (CPA) 2016 event, which takes place in London on 25th February.

Azlan will help the vendor achieve its goals by drawing on its own expertise in Citrix technologies and Tech Data’s extended reach into the SMB market place.

At its global Citrix Summit in January, the vendor said it would place additional focus on refining processes to support Gold and Silver Partners in driving growth with its XenDesktop, XenMobile and NetScaler solutions into SMBs.

“We see excellent potential for business growth in the SMB market for Citrix and we’ll be enthusiastically backing the company’s drive to get back to basics and provide added support to its valued partners,” commented Phil King, Azlan’s technology and services director.

“Azlan has well-developed skills in Citrix solutions and can also draw on Tech Data’s extended reach and strength in the SMB market, so we are ideally-placed to support Citrix in driving this strategy.”

Citrix Managed Partners will benefit from a re-booted channel team that includes newly titled Partner Account Managers (PAMs); additional announcements include details of the new ‘Build Plan’, which will see Citrix PAMs working with their partners on joint go-to-market propositions to develop stronger relationships throughout the value chain. There will also be a strong focus on key vertical markets, such as healthcare, education and finance.
