John Lewis to stock Dell XPS and Inspiron PCs and laptops in time for Christmas

John Lewis is bringing Dell’s range of XPS and Inspiron products to its UK retail stores.

The laptops and ultrabooks will be available to buy in time for Christmas and include the XPS 13 and XPS 15 laptops as well as the Inspiron range of notebooks, desktops and all-in-one solutions.

Consumers can get their hands on the XPS range by visiting Westfield Stratford shopping centre from 9th December onwards. A super-sized XPS 15 will take centre stage outside the John Lewis store, and visitors will be invited to interact with immersive works of art.

As well as putting Dell on its shelves in-store, John Lewis will have a broader range of Dell products available through its website, johnlewis.com. This includes Dell’s Alienware range of gaming machines.

“We are excited to get our products into the hands of more customers. As one of the UK’s best loved and most-respected retail brands, we’re delighted to be working with John Lewis Partnership to provide consumers with portable, stylish and powerful computing, whatever their needs may be,” said Jamil Nathoo, general manager at Dell UK.

“Dell is a name synonymous with quality technology, and we are delighted to help bring the Dell XPS and Inspiron range back to the high street,” added Harry Boughton, tablets, computing and wearable technology buyer at John Lewis.

We spoke to Michael Dell in the December issue of PCR to find out more about the vendor’s retail business. Read the full interview here.
