Find out how to boost IT service revenues with LogicNow at PCR Boot Camp North

Founded in Dundee in 2004 as HoundDog Technology and acquired by GFI Software in 2009, the company’s products were rebranded as GFI MAX, with the result being rapid global expansion.

Earlier this year the company was spun out by GFI Software and rebranded LogicNow, to focus entirely on cloud-based IT service management.

It now boasts the largest customer base globally amongst MSPs in the remote monitoring and management segment. With headquarters in Dundee and Edinburgh, plus offices and customers across the globe, LogicNow employs around 500 people.

Dedicated to moving away from what is commonly known as a ‘break/fix model’ to a ‘managed service model’, LogicNow’s products and commercials are focused on supporting the growth of its customers’ businesses and helping MSPs to expand the reach and breadth of the services they offer. In addition to substantial investments in R&D, the company invests in education and training for its customers in order to support their business growth.

“LogicNow invests heavily in the community, knowing that by helping our partners grow, we enable the channel to succeed,” said Deborah Lister, LogicNow’s community executive. “Our products are sold through the channel as a platform for allowing solution providers, MSPs and IT organisations to deliver high quality services, and events like PCR Boot Camp North are critical to the success of the channel by focusing on education and enablement.”

LogicNow’s MAXfocus product suite includes integrated remote monitoring and management, hybrid backup, mail security, service desk, managed security, mobile device management and management of cloud apps.

Over the last 18 months the company has invested in building a data science team to build collective intelligence and machine learning capabilities that will enable it to deliver business and operational insights to customers.

This reflects the company’s commitment to differentiating itself from its competitors.
