Eclipse Computers relaunches its pay-as-you-go gaming arena

UK system builder and PC retailer Eclipse Computers has spruced up its gaming arena, with revised pricing and plans to open more regularly.

The LAN gaming centre, located in Coventry, boasts 15 machines and allows to turn up and play games such as League of Legends, CSGO, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm and Dota 2. A Smash Bros tournament will also get underway on November 21st.

The systems will feature mice, mechanical keyboards and gaming headsets, and be powered by AMD FX 8350s, 16GB Crucial tracer memory and R9380X graphics cards.

Eclipse is charging punters £2 per hour to game at the arena, £5 for three hours or £10 for all-day entry.

The Arena is open as a LAN gaming centre each Friday and Saturday. The company also plans on adding an office and printing service soon too.

There will be a cold soft drinks machine in the arena, with a chip shop and vegetarian take-away nearby, and gamers are welcome to bring food back with them to the arena.

Eclipse has been showing off its systems and products at various consumer shows this year, including the Gadget Show Live and Multiplay Insomnia. It sponsors UK eSports organisation Choke Gaming.
