AMD has appointed Darren Grasby to the newly created position of president of AMD EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
Grasby is currently is Corporate Vice President Worldwide Component Channel and General Manager for AMD in Europe. In his role he is responsible for driving AMD’s Global Channel and Regional OEM sales organisation while building better and closer relationships with key customers and influencers and driving the platform message into the component channel.
Grasby has been in the high-tech industry for over 20 years, with more than 16 years of experience focused on PC/peripheral manufacturing facilities across the globe. Prior to his tenure at AMD, he founded and led several successful regional computer manufacturing companies.
In his new role, he will continue to drive deeper customer, partner, and stakeholder relationships across EMEA.
