MMD, the brand licence partner for Phillips monitors, has announced its partnership with distributor Exertis.
The deal comes as MMD plans to strengthen its commitment to the retail and B2B sectors.
Phillips’ range of monitors have been available from Exertis from August 1st.
Ian Aitken, general manager for the visual business unit at Exertis, said: “We are extremely excited to have MMD on board.
“The imminent launch of Philips monitors within Exertis is a well-conceived step. Both companies have spent a great deal of time looking at joint incremental business opportunities across Philips’ diverse product mix to ensure mutual market share growth.”
Paul Butler, regional sales director for the UK and Ireland for MMD monitors and displays, added: “For several years now, we have been working with Exertis as distribution partner for monitors from AOC.
“Next to having the ease-of-mind of working with a trusted and competent partner, we are now able to round off the product portfolio with unique Philips innovations such as PowerSensor, ErgoSensor and SoftBlue.”
This news comes after Exertis announced its partnership with Samsung, further strengthening the firm’s display portfolio.
Exertis is now responsible for distributing the Smart Signage DME-BR/BM Series from Samsung.
