Pop-up standing office comes to London

A pop-up office promoting the benefits of standing while working will open in the centre of Waterloo Station next week.

On July 21st, the stand-up office will offer users internet connectivity and Wi-Fi with a range of computers, keyboards and screens.

Travellers passing by can reserve a space for up to 30 minutes, and those with their own laptop will also be able to plug in and start working while standing up.

Throughout the day, head of research and education Dr Adam Al-Kashi from back consultancy Back Care will also be available to provide advice and back care consultations.

There will be five dedicated office spaces form 8am till 8pm which customers can reserve free of charge.

The pop-office allows workers to test out the standing idea, which is starting to change the landscape of offices across the UK.

Other vendors have started to look into the office of the future, including Samsung who believes those companies who do not adopt smart tech may not be around in the next few years.
