Drones could be a new revenue stream for resellers

At Computing’s recent Enterprise Mobility and Application Management Summit, Rentokil’s global director revealed the firm is looking in to using drones for bird pest control.

Anthony Meadows was taking part in a talk about IoT, when he reveals the company’s plans, saying IoT and drones will be ‘huge’ for pest control.

"Instead of having to get a ladder out, we could send a drone up with a camera," he said.

This got us thinking. As well as potentially being the next big sporting event, in the form of Drone Racing, what businesses could benefit from having a fleet of drones?
