The pair made three new overclocking world records

8Pack and der8auer smash more overclocking world records

Overclockers UK have made three new world records during the Asus ROG OC Showdown Area 2015.

Ian "8Pack" Parry of Overclockers, and Roman "der8auer" Hartung, partnered up and won the entire event, taking home a cheque worth $2,250 (£1,453).

HWBOT partnered up with the likes of Asus, ROG, HyperX, Seasonic, and Dimastech to bring the ROG OC Showdown Area.

The area allows world tour participants to showcase their overclocking skills in a specific set of benchmarks.

On Overclockers’ Facebook page the company stated: “The overclocking grandmaster Ian "8Pack" Parry and Roman "der8auer" Hartung have teamed together in the ASUS ROG OC Showdown Area 2015, winning the entire event while smashing three overclocking world records along the way.”

This news comes after 8Pack and der8auer broke 15 overclocking world records at the MSI OC Academy event in Cambridge earlier this year.

Using a PC rig powered by a Gigabyte X99 SOC Champion motherboard and a Titan X graphics card, the pair was able to smash new records.

This news comes after Overclockers partnered with Kingston HyperX, selling its physical goods in a pop-up shop in Soho.
