Pictures go live on existing 290X product page

AMD Radeon R9 390X graphics card first pictures and specs leaked

Oops – it looks like XFX has accidentally shown off first pictures of the upcoming AMD Radeon R9 390X GPU on its own website.

Four pictures have gone live on XFX’s R9 290X product page, including one that displays the boxed packaging of AMD’s as of yet unrevealed graphics card.

Judging from the packaging it looks like XFX’s card comes with a copy of racing game Dirt Rally.

Up until now we’ve only been teased a couple of brief 390X images from EA and others on Twitter.

Other apparently leaked info from an Asus has revealed that the card is set to feature 8GB GDDR5 memory, DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort, 2,816 Stream Cores, and more.

AMD’s CEO Lisa Su hinted that the card will be finally revealed on June 16th at the E3 video gaming convention, when the next range of AMD graphics cardsfeaturing HBM tech (including the high-end Radeon Fury) will launch.

Last week, AMD revealed a 6th gen A-series notebook processor.
