Teams up with Origin Storage as it shows off range at Computex this week

TrioNAS storage vendor Qsan appoints UK distributor

Storage vendor Qsan has appointed Origin Storage as its UK distributor for its TrioNAS range of products.

These devices aim to bring enterprise-class features to small and medium sized businesses.

Qsan TrioNAS offers ZFS-De-duplication – a transactional, copy-on-write, "crash-free" file system with 128-bit address space and self-healing capability.

Qsan Technology was founded in 2004 as a professional network storage provider of SAN and unified storage. It will be presenting its latest solutions for video surveillance and media markets at the Computex 2015 trade show this week.

Origin Storage has been supplying resellers for more than a decade now, with customers including Insight, CCS, Softcat and Dell.

“We selected Origin Storage due to the depth of its expertise in the NAS market, breadth of services capability and its investment in high quality technical resources”, said David Kao (pictured), MD of Qsan Technology. “We were also attracted by the firm’s geographic reach in vertical markets and its evolving storage market and cloud capability."

Andy Cordial, MD of Origin Storage, added: "We’re delighted to be entering into our portfolio Qsan’s award winning products. We see the Qsan range complementing our existing partners as well as a strong individual presence. We’re looking forward to a very successful future together.”
