Essencore is the company behind the new RAM brand KLEVV, which will be coming to the UK in the next month.
The company currently specialises in a range of DDR4 and DDR3 memory modules, including DDR4 Cras (pictured) and DDR3 Genuine, where quality and design are the main focus for the KLEVV brand.
With plans to crack the UK market, the company – set up last year with a team of 12 – also hopes to go and expand within Europe with the help of distributor M2m Direct.
The company is also in talks with a range of UK etailers, including Ebuyer, Overclockers and Amazon, where customers will be able to get their hands on the new range.
Previously, KLEVV has also sponsored eSports team SKT T1, who are currently battling in the League of Legends Champions Korea Spring 2015 Finals.
John Habington, MD of KLEVV, said: “We want to start working into the channel quickly and that’s where M2m Direct will help us with that, to start getting communication down to Europe and to customers.
“You will start to see us online and available in some of the key places over the next few weeks, and we’ll roll out across the UK and in the etail base in the summer as well."
DDR4 is also starting to boom within the memory market, but Alex Rüdinger, PR and marketing director for KLEVV, believes that there is still room for DDR3.
“There’s not that much DDR4 products at the moment, so factories or manufacturers are switching from DDR3 to DDR4, there’s still a high demand for DDR3,” added Rüdinger.
“Everything is still in early stage, but I know there are people out there who are willing to spend no matter what amount of money to have the latest technology.”
KLEVV was established by a group of figures from Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. It says its goal is to become a leader in semiconductor distribution and premium memory products.
