Network Group has signed a deal with HP and its PartnerOne program, giving its members Gold Partner status with the vendor.
The partnership was announced today at the IT reseller buying group’s 2015 conference and expo event in Brighton.
Network Group says it’s the first reseller group in the UK to sign an exclusive HP PartnerOne network agreement for its members, which will give them access to various benefits and promotions across HP’s print and PC business.
Members will receive discounts on stock ordered through Network Group (distributed via Westcoast), with a rebate available on purchases.
HP’s UK country manager for SBSO, Grant Thomas (pictured), gave a presentation at the event outlining HP as a ‘channel-led organisation’ and running through specific details of the PartnerOne program.
He said the deal was a first for the UK and a ‘landmark arrangement’, and also looked to the future, talking up the incoming 3D printing offering which is due to launch in HP’s fiscal year 2016.
The program includes Best Buy promotions each month on the print side, as well as cut-price desktops and HP Accelerate, a reseller sales incentive program that pays the salesperson for their sales of HP products.
Network Group MD Phylip Morgan told PCR: "Our B2B director Joey Hemingbrough has worked hard to secure the agreement, which will bring outstanding value to the members of the group – and give them HP Gold Partner status."
