Kasia Kowalska and Estelle Johannes the latest names added to expert industry panel

Tesco and CompTIA join PCR Advisory Board

Two leading UK tech execs have joined the PCR Retail Advisory Board.

Estelle Johannes (pictured right) from trade organisation CompTIA is on board (replacing Vaughan Shayler), while Tesco’s buying manager for computing, Kasia Kowalska (pictured left), has also joined.

Johannes was recently appointed UK channel community director, and plans to build on the existing UK channel membership, working with IT resellers and dealers.

Kowalska, meanwhile, recently told PCR that Tesco has seen good year-on-year uplifts in desktop sales. You can read an interview with her in the latest (May) issue of PCR.

As part of its Retail Advisory Board, PCR will ask them for their views on industry trends and topics each month.

The pair join other retail buyers and buying group exec panellists such as Scan Computers’ James Gorbold, John Lewis’ William Jones, Synaxon’s Mike Barron, Overclockers’ Steve Ling and more.

The panel was set up in late 2012 and has grown to include more than 20 members.
