Product roundup: Razer launches Leviathan Sound Bar, Gigabyte 960 cards for mini-ITX PCs

In this week’s roundup Razer has launched the Leviathan 5.1 Channel Surround Sound Bar featuring Dolby technology and a dedicated subwoofer.

It can be fitted to any desktop monitor and console setup, and is available for £159.99.

Gigabyte has introduced two new GeForce GTX 960 graphics cards for mini-ITX PCs this week.

The cards carry Nvidia GM206 graphics chips with 1024 stream processors, 2GB of 7GHz GDDR5 memory, as well as an HDMI and a DisplayPort.

PC vendor HP has announced a line-up of new products for developers and architects, including the HP Z Turbo Drive G2, HP OMEN Pro Mobile Workstation, HP DreamColor Z32x Display and the HP Ultra-Narrow Bezel Z27n, Z24n, Z24nf and Z24nq displays.

Plus, HP has announced the new Envy x360, Pavilion x360 and Pavilion notebooks.

In addition, Synology has announced its new RackStation RS815, which features a 12-inch chassis design while the DiskStation DS1515 is the first five-bay Value series model with a Quad-core CPU.

Oki has launched a new range of A3 smart printers. The MC800 series feature the MC853 and MC873 with print speeds of up to 35 pages per minute (ppm) and scan speeds of 50 impressions per minute (ipm).

Wav and Wedge are two new Bluetooth speakers available from Antec this week. The devices feature music streaming and can switch between phone calls and listening to music easily.

Prestigio has updated its line of smartphones with the Grace X7. It features a five-inch HD IPS OGS display, an Octa Core 1.7GHz processor and 2GB RAM.

Networking vendor TP-LINK has also unveiled its AV1200 Gigabit Passthrough Powerline starter kit.

It features HomePlug AV2 standard with MIMO Powerline technology, helping to provide gigabit speeds and wireless access to hard of reach areas.

NEC has shown off some new dual entry-level range of large format displays. The E Series includes eight models from 32-inches to 90-inches in size.

In other news, software manufacturer SoftMaker has released SoftMaker Office HD, the first Office suite for Android tablets.

The software will be available from the Amazon app store and later in the Google Play store, as well as directly from SoftMaker.

Overclockers are now listing Alpenföhn Matterhorn black and white edition CPU coolers. Both devices also feature the new 120mm WingBoost2 premium fan.

Plus, the retailer is now stocking the Zowie ZA series gaming mice.

Asus has delved into the wearables market with the launch of its new VivoWatch. It comes with a battery life of 10 days, an IP67 water resistant case and a VivoPulse that uses a built-in optical sensor for heart monitoring.
