Bhavesh Patel, director at Link Sales, talks about the challenge of currency fluctuations and how Synaxon is helping grow its business

What products and services does your company offer?

We are B2B and cover most areas including networking, spares, Adobe, consumables and all IT-related products, as well as office products.

What are the biggest issues you face with today’s market?

As we deal extensively in the export markets, currency fluctuations are the biggest issues.

What’s been your biggest growth area recently?

Structured cabling, software and office products. We are currently looking at introducing managed services to our clients – this is something that Synaxon is assisting us with.

How important is social media to the business?

It’s not a priority at the moment but it is something that we will be looking at in the near future. We have a very healthy referral system in place.

What do you have planned for 2015?

We already have a distribution network set up in West Africa, but we plan to extend into the surrounding regions.

What are the benefits of working with Synaxon?

Getting good prices and getting general all round support. Their EGIS procurement platform serves us well and enables us to make good savings. We also benefit from their deals with companies like Parcelforce.
