Vendor expands sales team

Three new appointments at Panda Security

Panda Security has announced three new appointments to its sales team.

The new additions follow a successful 2014 in sales, largely thanks to the company’s partnerships with Blue Solutions, Entatech, Exertis and Westcoast.

Megan Davies has joined as retail account manager while the business channel development team has been expanded with the appointment of Jessica Kingham, who comes from a client service background in the publishing and property industries.

Tony Lee, MD of Panda Security, commented on the Davies hire, saying: “Megan Davies was selected to join the retail team to continue our consumer solution market growth.

“We are sure her channel experience and positive attitude will swiftly enamor her to our partners.”

Plus Philip Walthew will lead business development in the enterprise space with the Adaptive Defense managed service.

This can ‘accurately classify’ every application running within an organisation, only allowing legitimate programs to run.

Tony Lee, MD of Panda Security, said: “With a wealth of channel experience across leading vendors and value-add players, Phil Walthew is our ideal candidate for the role.

“Positioned to fully understand the requirements of Enterprise customers who are taking a proactive stance on security.”

All three will be available to meet at the next Partner event being hosted by Panda Security on 18th June in London Paddington

Panda’s UK team recently bagged the award for Best Corporation Growth and Marketing at an award ceremony in Bilbao.
