Paul Irish will take over from Nick Grey and John Goodwin to head up Hama’s UK operations

Hama UK hires new country manager

Hama UK has announced that Paul Irish will take over from MD Nick Grey and sales director John Goodwin under the new title of country manager.

Irish has come from tech accessories company Vivanco, where he held the position of managing director for 20 years.

Grey and Goodwin, who served with Hama for 22 years and 13 years respectively, are stepping down from their positions to take some time out from the business.

The company said in a statement that their invaluable expertise and passion for the Hama brand was one of the driving forces in the company’s growth.

Peter Van den Bossche, VP of finance and operations at Hama, commented on Irish’s appointment: “We are really looking forward to working together with Paul here at Hama.

“It will be interesting to combine his unique skills set with those currently existing within our group. I’m convinced this is a major leap in the development of our company.”

As well as the new hire, Hama UK is set to relaunch its website on April 17th, which has been redesigned with mobile in mind.
